The RopeAlong does what old fashioned pulling devices can do plus much more.

Pulling length is limited only by the length of rope you use.
If one length of rope is not enough, add a second rope to extend your pulling distance.

Rope or mule tape is easier to handle and safer if a break happens during a pull.
It's also easier to replace than a cable, and less expensive, too. Replacing worn rope, extending pull lengths or changing rope sizes to meet the job is a cinch.

It has continuous pulling capability.
No need to stop and block the load and restretch the cable or to use two come-alongs.

And it's simple to use, here's how it works.
1 Tie the rope to an anchor point and lock the RopeAlong's front grab on the rope.
2 Pull the slack out of the rope and loop it around the hook.
3 Then crank the handle and wind the rope onto the spool.

If you’re doing a long pull, there’s no need to worry about running out of rope. When the spool fills, pull the rear grab and reverse the spool lever a couple of clicks, this locks the rear grab quickly and safely on the rope. The load is held securely by both grabs. Then simply release the spool lock, and pull all of the rope off of the spool. With the spool empty, loop the rope around the hook again and you’re ready to continue pulling. Begin cranking the handle and the rear holding grab will automatically release.
